Current Programme

GRESSONEY, ITALY, OFF-PISTE WEEKS. 8th - 15th January, and 17th - 24th January 2012. Sitting above Aosta on the south flank of Monte Rosa, Gressoney has wonderful off-piste as well as extensive lifts linking Champolouc, Gressoney and Alagna. The hotel is family run and charming, next to the lifts, comfortable rooms and outstanding food.

We can ski as much or as little off-piste as the group wants with options to bale out onto the pistes; and many places to stop for coffee or lunch. If you have a friend, wife, husband or partner who would like to come, but who prefers to stay on piste, they would be very welcome. If others come on the same basis, they will have people to ski with; and the off-piste grop will be able to meet up with them during the day, say for lunch.

DOLOMITES SKI SAFARI. 3rd - 10th March 2012. Meet and finish at Bolzano. 

We will get a Dolomite Superski lift pass for the week; off-piste wherever possible, but also enjoying the amazing pistes; skins for some short ascents. Probably the most scenic mountains in the Alps.  We will carry light packs and stay in a mixture of hotels, guest houses and comfortable mountain huts.

Grade: Intermediate Travel: By air to Innsbruck; then a 2 hour train journey to Bolzano.

SILVRETTA, AUSTRIA. 14th - 21st March. Meet and finish at Galtur.  A hut to hut tour through this wonderful touring area; glaciers with hardly any crevasses; comfortable huts with showers; and a chance to climb some peaks.   Skins, ice axes and crampons.

Grade: Intermediate. Travel: Innsbruck is the nearest airport; then a train + bus journey of just over 2 hours.

NORWAY. 12th - 19th May 2012. Exciting ski touring in the furthest north of Norway; based on a 75ft yacht; 2 guides.
